fuck you Michelle Beadle

(originally posted 5/4/2018. I stand behind every word of this. I feel validated that she is no longer on the show and has been replaced by an endless stream of nameless blonde Barbie dolls.)

Unlike most of my reasonable friends, who long ago gave up on ESPN and their sad attempts at being the sports equivalent of MSNBC, I still occasionally tune in to catch up on the sports news. I’ve always enjoyed Mike Greenberg so despite the fact that his new show Get Up is so painfully cliché, ESPN using their typical insulting formula of taking the host you want to see and adding a Barbie doll and a black guy, I tuned in yesterday.

In what will be my final time viewing ESPN.

The topic they were discussing? NFL cheerleaders. Lecturing America on the topic? The aforementioned empty-headed ESPN Barbie doll who got her job 100% because of her looks Michelle Beadle. Her conclusion? “Let’s get rid of men.”

Really. That is a direct quote. Not said sarcastically. Who does she think is watching ESPN?

Skillfully dancing around the fact that cheerleaders exist only to be objectified she expressed her disgust that men would want to leer at pretty women between snaps. She even attempted to answer her own objection of simply getting rid of cheerleaders as an unnecessary part of athletic events (which I agree with wholeheartedly) by stating “Don’t get rid of cheerleaders. Let’s get rid of men.”

She got rid of one male viewer so mission accomplished Michelle.

Talk about shooting the messenger ESPN (and be quite sure that they endorse Michelle’s sentiment 100%), whatever terrible things NFL teams appear to be doing to their stable of hot babes they (the hot babes) have the option at any time to leave and pursue other interests. The fact that 20 other hot babes will leap at the chance to dress in skimpy outfits and jiggle in front of a stadium of leering men is the reality that ESPN and Michelle and the ‘Me Too’ crowd choose to ignore. It’s like having front row seats to watch the women’s movement eat its own tail. Having to hear Michelle celebrate that some of these disgruntled hot babes are now suing the NFL for various reasons is too pathetic to be funny.

I wonder what she’ll say when ratings for the first day of the upcoming female beach volleyball championship on ESPN bury the viewership for any WNBA game ever shown. It will be such a mystery to Michelle as to why the male viewing public suddenly has such an interest in volleyball.

Were you aware that the WNBA has been in existence for 20 years and has NEVER made a dime. It loses huge money every year and only survives by stealing cash from the NBA. Stadiums are empty. Nobody watches it on ESPN. Because the terrible truth is the game is unwatchable.

And yet recently ESPN had one of the former giant women stopping in to all the shows to complain about the income inequality between the mens and womens game. With a straight face no less. Pay them what they are really worth … nothing.

Does ESPNMSNBC understand the country they are broadcasting to? The rules of the free market?  America hasn’t yet become the socialist county they want it to be. Women wanted to compete on a level playing field didn’t they?At some point is this PC bullshit going to come to an end? It has to right?!

But anyway…

It boggles the mind how women like Michelle Beadle can show such contempt for men while at the same time rationalizing to themselves their own success. Yeah, it was her journalism skills that got her the gig.  Like NFL cheerleaders she exists as eye candy. Nobody watching Get Up is there to hear her opinions on anything. Sit there and look pretty and let Mike Greenberg and whatever the black guys name is talk.

My only hope is that she ends up having to do color commentary for a WNBA game and Mike Golic’s borderline-retarded son is her co-host.

Fuck Michelle Beadle and triple fuck ESPN.

Now if you’ll excuse me I have to Google “Washington Redskin Cheerleaders Topless.”
