the impossible girl

She got a single letter tattooed on her bicep. When she went to show her boyfriend she explained that every letter was a different color.

“I thought you said you only got one?” he asked innocently. (That’s not to imply he was innocent, just stating how he asked the question.)

Just like him. He hadn’t even seen which letter and there he was assuming it wasn’t a different color.

Maybe if was for the best that they stopped seeing each other. His name was the same as her previous boyfriend and she kept calling him that.

On the plus side, she found a way to lie (appropriately enough) on her side in such a way that her arm felt like it belonged to someone else and she could find comfort in pressing it against herself.

(Ok… he was probably innocent.)
