Squirmers… a new Nap Lapkin story!

A little background. Before there was even a Lance Manion churning out flash fiction, there was a desire to write. This desire manifest itself with a completed full-blown horror novel called Squirmers. A novel that was written and housed on a computer that soon after the last word was typed decided to crash, taking Squirmers with it. I surely had a copy of it right?

Nope.

You could make the case that subconsciously I decided to never write anything that would take more than five minutes to recreate.

Whatever the case, if you have been visiting this website over the last six months you’ll notice I’ve written a grand total of one new story. Maybe two… I think one was so terrible that I can’t bring myself to count it.

So to try to kick start my enthusiasm for writing again, I decided to try to merge my only reoccurring character, Nap Lapkin, with what I remember from my old horror novel.

No promises of course, but I will just write it a post at a time until it I either come up with a glorious new Nap entry or it grinds to a halt due to a lack of attention span on my part.
